How many countries have I visited?
This is usually the first question people ask me. Or sometimes it’s the second, the first being “don’t you get scared”?
I’m going to leave the scared one for now and tell you that up until this point, I’ve never actually counted the countries I’ve been to.
I have started once or twice, but I get bored and then start researching where I’m going next and it all falls by the wayside.
So I’ve finally done the count and ….. drum roll please…..
I’ve now been to 92 103 countries! (Updated October 2023)

103 countries. Wow – that is a lot now I think about it. I wonder how much money I’ve spent?? Actually no – I’m not going anywhere near that question!
In March of 2024 I’m heading back to South America to visit Colombia, French Guyana, Guiana, Suriname, Uruguay and Paraguay. That will leave Ecuador & El Salvador in South America and then that is one continent done!
