This hiking pack by the North Face isn't seen everywhere like the Osprey is for example but it is a solid pack, lightweight, very comfortable and still capable of decent weight carry on those resupply days.
It's capacity is 55 litres and empty it weighs 1560g for the L/XL that I have. It has been my first top load pack and I was a little nervous about it, also because it has this amazing lumbar curve so it feels like the stuff size is limited initially. It's not, however although because of the curve I feel you have to plan your pack out pretty well. Like any top loader you don't want to drag out everything to get to the bottom but because of its ergonomic design you often can't see whats in the bottom so it forces you to be more aware.
The hip belt is expandable and from both ends. You can bring it out from the back and shorten the front straps which keep the hip pockets in place. The padding is great and I love that you are able to get everything inside the pack. I hate shit hanging off my pack (with the exception of my drying socks) so I love that I have room for everything and I'm still sleek and don't catch on trees.
I have a friend that has the Terra 50L which has the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom as a separate access if that's your thing. Its slightly heavier (like 120g) but more traditional in style - not the same lumbar.
